SLA-PH ensures that educational institutions and organizations create equal and equitable opportunities for learners to take full advantage of their education. From the provision of resources to the establishment of supplemental academic support, the Alliance aims to democratize access to education, technology, resources, and facilities to optimize the full potential and participation of Filipino learners.
Living Laboratories
Establish avenues for hands on, immersive experiences that will expose students to real-life applications of theories in addressing critical problems in their communities

Workforce Development
Enabling this workstream is SLA-PH’s focus on Workforce Development which includes upskilling and reskilling the current workforce and preparing the future workforce to respond and adapt to digital revolution and automation, shifts in societal norms and political realities, and other emerging industry needs. Committed to champion quality education and skills training for the current and future workforce, the Alliance also invests in knowledge management of best practices, documents the knowledge gained from these, and effectively shares them. As an industry-led alliance, SLA-PH has the opportunity to inform and greatly influence the enabling environments of the future workforce through curricular innovation.

Our Programs
Policy Research and Advocacy
Stems from SLA-PH’s vision to put STEM at the forefront of the national government agenda, providing the link between education and the workforce towards overall economic advancement in the country. The Alliance will play an active role in pursuing research & development efforts towards developing policies and supporting strategies to influence and lobby public policies, laws, and systems that strengthen STEM education and support the qualifications framework for workforce development.
Advocacy Promotion
To promote the Alliance’s mission and its members, communication efforts will be infused with a master plan and agenda targeting a specific call to action.
Gender Advocacy
The Alliance promotes encouraging our girls to pursue STEM and supports an enabling environment for women in STEM careers.
Policy Advocacy
SLA will play an active role in developing policies and supporting strategies to change public policies, laws, and systems to strengthen STEM education and support the qualifications framework for workforce development.
Resource Generation
SLA will provide resources for projects that are aligned with its priority focus areas.
